Last year, Transnetyx established the Darrell E. Hoskins, DVM, DACLAM Memorial Research Grant in recognition of Darrell’s contributions to the field of laboratory animal science and to celebrate the warm friendship and continual support he provided to those in the field, as well as all those around him.  

 Through the program, two $10,000 grants are awarded each year to “accelerate advances in animal welfare and the 3Rs through original research conducted by veterinary trainees in laboratory animal medicine.”

 Applications are now being accepted (through January 15, 2025) for the 2025-2026 award cycle.
